CAPELFEST HOMECRAFT COMPETITION

CapelFest is a celebration of our community and once again the community can be even more involved by entering the HomeCraft Competition and showcase their skills to the thousands of visitors that will visit Capel for the day.

Show us your skills and be
the best in the Region

As the residents of the Shire of Capel discover the details of the HomeCraft Competition, we are hearing stories of friendly rivalry between neighbours and friends who enjoy home based activities. And it is wonderful to hear that good old fashioned community spirit is at work.

Children can also be involved and can enter the baking, vegetables, woodwork & craft sections.

Download the HomeCraft Schedule and Entry Form below, or pick up a copy at your local Shire of Capel library.

Display your talents in:

Vegetables (pumpkin, carrot, silverbeet, herbs, fruit/vegetable selection, kids decorated fruit/vegetable)

Domestic (scones, anzac biscuits, chocolate/fruit cakes, marmalades, chutney/pickles, kids muffins/pikelets)

Amateur Brewing (ale, lager, stout, cider or ginger beer)

Flowers (roses, mixed flowers, flowering shrubs)

Needlework (cross-stitch, embroidery, long stitch, knitted beadwork, quilt or wall hanging)

Craft (scrapbooking, folk art, fabric art, cardmaking, kids decorated coathanger)

Woodwork (cutting board, picture frame, pens, other turned articles)

Have a go, test your skills and get the whole family involved. There is something for everyone…
