FREE FAMILY FESTIVAL

CapelFest is an annual FREE event that welcomes over 10,000 visitors to the town of Capel in celebration of the all that the region has to offer. Talents are on show on the live entertainment stages and in the Artistic Flair exhibition, as well as local produce and industries showcased among the various market stalls.

The live entertainment and street theatre, informative displays and demonstrations from groups such as Landcare, solar energy providers and Iluka Resources are just part of the FREE entertainment on offer throughout the day. 

Families can enjoy a real Carnival atmosphere with Side Show Alley, Clydesdale horse and buggy rides, as well as a Baby Animal Farm and Capel Apex Train rides for the kids.

The event allows various non-profit, sporting and community groups from around the region to raise funds for their year’s activities.

In the best interests of the general public this is a SMOKE FREE and DOG FREE event.
