Are you ready?

Time flies when you are having fun…it’s that time of year again when Capel gets ready for its big day on show. As artists from around the region put finishing touches on their unique pieces, pruning, potting, mixing and making are well underway for the Home Craft Competition and our local performers are rehearsing, we can feel the buzz in the air as we get closer to the 28th of March.

CapelFest is more than just a one day event, it’s the day when all the planning comes together. The committee work continuously throughout the year to bring this fun filled, action packed day together. Many community and sporting groups from Capel and around the region use CapelFest as a means of fundraising and promoting themselves.

Put on your walking shoes, it's going to be another big year for CapelFest, with new performers, a very excited MC, lots of Australian animals just waiting for a cuddle from you and many local businesses eager to show you all of their produce.

So if you are not part of CapelFest, it’s not too late to get involved, whether through your Artistic talents or by volunteering, there is so much to do. We look forward to seeing you on Sunday 28^th of March, Capel Town Centre, 9am-4pm.
